Advanced Problem-Solving Course
Need help solving problems? You're not alone.
Petaluma Learning and Guidance is now offering a high-level course specifically designed to help students build skill and confidence in upper-level maths and sciences.
The class will be a five-day, ten-hour course designed to help incoming chemistry and physics students be comfortable with solving the sorts of problems they will see in their respective classes.
Ideal outcomes:
- Comfort, confidence, and capability with solving problems in H.S. level math and science
- A brief preview of relevant curriculum in these areas
- Improve your performance in stressful test-taking environments
- Start a working relationship with other highly-motivated students in your upcoming class and have the option to continue in an ongoing study group throughout the upcoming school year.
- Organized and summarized informational packet for you to keep for further review
- Ability to apply these problem-solving skills to all other relevant disciplines, both now and in the future (i.e. college)
- Will make schoolwork easier and improve grades throughout academic career
Two sections are planned: one starting the morning of Monday, August 12th and one starting the evening of Monday, September 9th.
